Engine Inlet Barrier Filter (EIBF) Systems
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y., March 13, 2015 – Pall Corporation (NYSE:PLL) today announced that it has delivered its 200th PUREair Dry Barrier filter element to the U.S. Army. Pall Aerospace has been delivering product since July 2014 to support the U.S. Army’s effort to re-source the UH-60 BLACK HAWK Engine Inlet Barrier Filters (EIBF). This indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), competitive contract awarded to Pall Aerospace represents a major shift to dry barrier technology for the U.S. Army’s UH-60 BLACK HAWK EIBF filtration solution.
The PUREair Dry Barrier filters have been specifically designed using advanced synthetic dry media technology that virtually eliminates the maintenance associated with conventional
oil-wetted EIBFs. The Pall Aerospace PUREair barrier filter is cleaned with water only, and is ready for re-use in minutes.

Pall Aerospace recently introduced additional products to the portfolio of PUREair Dry Barrier Filters at HAI’s Heli-Expo in Orlando. The commercial PUREair products are available from DART Aerospace and Pall Aerospace.
